The product design engineer will report directly to Engineering Manager of plastic fastener, China Region. To carry out assignments requiring a systems approach to create fastening solutions for the customer’s application. To become an expert in the application of products to one or more assigned markets and act as consulting engineer to customers who serve those markets.

Responsibilities: 1. Build brand equity and awareness based on a developed market understanding, including customers and competitors, by means of a targeted, consistent, and resonant message to the market. 2. Create, implement and lead the marketing channel strategy 3. Develop creative and compelling content across a variety of channels that increases brand awareness and visibility, drives lead generation, and enhances audience engagement. 4. Create marketing communication strategies to understand, develop, and enhance the relationship between the customer and product portfolio. 5. Lead marketing and promotional activities, with a focus on demand generation and engagement, which includes: 6. Collateral development, content marketing, and creation of communication campaigns 7. Execution of digital campaigns that target and nurture opportunities 8. Creation of documentation that improves sales and service effectiveness 9. Organizing and championing ITW at events and networking opportunities(customer techdays/ industry exhibitions / technical forums) 10. Appropriate content creation and copywriting for online and print 11. Evolve and revise messaging architecture with input from subject matter experts to ensure message consistency in all externally facing communications.
Position Skills and Experience Requirements: 1. Education: BS in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field. 2. 5+ years marketing communications experience. 3. 3+ years of content creation experience in automotive markets. 4. 3+ years of diverse channel management experience. 5. Familiarity with the application and use of marketing key performance indicators. 6. Outgoing and strong interpersonal skills, with recognized ability to proactively and quickly build and nurture relationships at all levels. 7. Capable of effectively managing priorities and time when provided multiple projects, of varying magnitude, with firm delivery dates. 8. Knowledge of industrial marketing principles, methods and techniques. 9. Ability to analyze and solve problems and foster a cooperative work environment. 10. Experience of managing and motivating people. 11. Language: English Excellent, prefer using Korean or Japanese as secondary working language.
