Daily PO management and inventory control tasks; internal (sourcing team & different business divisions) & external (Vendor)communications
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. POs management and tracking: Place purchase POs as timeline according to reviewed requisitions generated from APO system and negotiate shipping window for making sure supply meet requirement for keeping good service level. Track the POs confirmation and co-work with cross functional team for handle supply issue accordingly. 2. Good understanding of Supply demand and planning knowledge; familiar with SAP/ERP system logic. 3. Inventory Management: Communicate directly with the vendors to expedite shortage, de-expedition, and branch level balance as needed to keep MDL’s MIOH within healthy level. 4. Coordination: Support corresponding work regarding of managed vendors per cooperation with Global supply chain teams and the 3rd PL. 5. Supply issue dispose: Always escalate issue in most effective and timely manner. Co-work with sourcing, division, quality, and artwork team to prepare sufficient database for supporting issue dispose. 6. Regular Meeting: Keep close contact by regular call or meeting with each region's IM about hot items, pending issues, any other open topics. 7. Vendors KPI review and regular reports: Take action for late Shipment penalty and on time shipment performance 8. Communication with Sourcing Team on PO management and Vendor 9. Other tasks or projects as assigned by Shanghai supply chain manager.
Education Bachelor's Degree, knowledge of international trade or logistics is preferred.
Relevant Work Experience At least 3-8 years relevant experiences in Production / Supply Chain/International Logistic especially with equivalent in Multi-national Company environment.
Additional 1. Computer Skills: Proficient at Office software like Excel, PPT with skill such as V-lookup, Pivot Table, etc. 2. Data analytical skills is a plus 3. Good written and oral English. 4. Good capability of adaptability and High flexibility on challenge acceptance to be the great team player. 5. SAP/APO is highly preferred.
