Meaning: The Project Manager plan and manage projects, making sure they are completed on time and within budget. He could work on almost any kind of size of project. The Project Manager would usually be office-based, but may spend some time attending meetings or visiting contractors and suppliers, visit construction sites on a regular basis. Job Description and responsibility: 1. Preliminary : - Inform the General Manager of potential project (client planning) - Study the concept book - Understanding of client requirements and schedule - Site visit (when necessary) for understanding, size, pictures - Constantly in contact with client - Contact with suppliers for material and items cost - Preparation of cost quotation / cost list 2. Planning : - Receive order confirmation and authorization from Client - Insert the order on the project planning list - Organize time schedule in all its process and decide the priority the project together with General Manager - Elaboration of work phase for the completion of the project (including site works - Contractor) - Time planning with logistic for - Production time - Material recruitment - Packing - Delivery 3. Execution : - Study and discuss with Technical Manager, Project Engineers and Production Manager for all product details and requirement to be produced - Packing List - Require elaboration of the project with Project Engineers - Forward information to suppliers and production for the need of the project - Manage and organize other parties involved on the project - Organize and plan fitting team. Advice administration for trip arrangements (as ticket-hotel-address-contacts-cash) - Keep informed the General Manager for any modification on project schedule, modification and solutions (time) - Keep informed Production Manager for any modification of order, details and schedule (technical) - Keep informed the Administration for any modification, extra on the order for quotation and contract preparation - Keep informed the Administration for the progress of the project in order to issue invoice as per contract
4. Controlling : - Keep track of all the outsourcings status - Quality Control - Keep under supervision the cost / budget - Keep under control all phases to be on schedule - Be able to solve the problems when any, or/and inform the GeneralManager for quick intervention 5. Closing : - Site visit and quality control (when necessary) - Snagging list - Replacement / re - touch preparation and organization - Receive signed receipt from client of completion of installation
Qualifications: - Bachelor Degree in Construction field (architecture, interior design, engineering etc) - min. 2 to 5 years experience - Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills - Logical thinking with creative problem-solving ability - Great attention to detail - Good communication and negotiation skills - Understanding of budget control - Ability to work well with others and lead a team - Good understanding of business - Technical skills relevant to the project - Good IT skills (AutoCAD, Photoshop, Office, MS Project)
