- Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic hardware senior design engineer with experience with designing, testing, and troubleshooting high speed digital PCBA. In this position, you will be a key member of a small group of engineers responsible for core automotive test bench systems. You will have great responsibility and autonomy to deliver a product from beginning to end. You will be expected to work with the other members on defining the overall system architectures, design, parts selection, and testing approaches.
- Key Responsibilities
1) Perform board level circuit design and development, including digital and analog technologies.
2) Responsible for the design and development of new products as well as the support and modification of existing products.
3) Responsible for conceptual design, parts selection, design simulation, detailed design, schematic capture and PCB design.
4) Continuous interaction with other departments (Software, Embedded, Mechanical, etc.) as part of daily board design practices and to support/maintain inter-departmental communications.
5) Manage prototype builds with contract manufacturers or local technicians.
6) Guarantee the compliance of the electronics with the relevant standards (CE, UL, CCC, etc.).
- III. Key Knowledge
- FPGAs: Xilinx Spartan® or similar
- MCU: ARM® Microcontrollers
- High speed buses: Gigabit Ethernet port, USB 3.0, LVDS, SPI, FMC expansion.…
- Analog I/O: with high definition, high sampling rate (16bit, > 200KS/s/CH)
- Knowledge of PCIe, DDR3/4 and FLASH technologies
- Knowledge of C/C++ language in embedded environments
- Knowledge of LabVIEW® and LabVIEW FPGA® Module programming or VHDL/Verilog
- Knowledge Cadence PCB or Altium® design tools
- Knowledge of CPU like Intel Atom, Intel® Celeron is a big plus
IV. Qualifications:
· 10+ years of experiences on Digital Board level design.
· Strong digital design background 5+ years CPU/FPGA/MCU
· Strong Electrical Engineering knowledge including - EMI, EMC, ESD best practices and rules
· Capable of writing supporting documentation to coordinate and establish layout practices and test procedures for the current design.
· Good English communication skills.
