The role of a Production Control & Logistics Specialist is to manage logistics activities of a plant and deploy the Shape’s Production Control & Logistics (PC&L) policy. The main missions of the role are to:
61 Lead all material handling functions in the plant.
61 Lead all shipping and receiving functions in the plant.
61 Lead all planning functions in the plant (customer order management, supplier order release, production schedule, e-coating plan…)
61 MRO spare parts management, order release/ cycle count
61 New programs packaging design/ packaging management.
61 Manage the flow of material through the plant using Shape PC&L and SES tools.
61 Ensure adequate staffing, training, and development of team members.
61 Implement and manage the PC&L tools including inventory layouts, Leveling boards, TPA’s, production instruction kanban, kanban launchers, flat warehouse area.
61 Monitor logistics performance and implement necessary improvement actions in coordination with other plant functions (Production, Quality, Engineering, SES…).
61 Components/ WIP/ FG Inventory control/ management, cycle count, FIFO.
Position Skills and Experience Requirements:

61 Bachelor in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or similar degree
61 Experience in Logistics in an industrial environment, preferably automotive
61 Very strong Excel skills
61 Very strong written and verbal communication skills
61 Very strong English skills
