Project Manager _ Vehicle Testing Your tasks ● As a team leader & project manager, you are the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) on site for all project participants including the customer. ● You lead the vehicle testing operation and ensure the on-time, high-quality delivery of all project tasks ● You will develop and evaluate individual test programs and scenarios for vehicles and their components in close communication with our customers, you determine the routes for testing. ● You are responsible for the performance of all onsite test drivers, engineers, and technicians, including their training ● You are responsible for the evaluation of the vehicles and preparation of technical analyses as well as regular reports ● Furthermore, you instruct and lead on-site personnel on test scenarios, analysis activities, new technology innovations on test vehicles, and any other related work tasks ● Support Sales Staff with the preparation of quotations, as well as customer visits Your qualifications ● Basic prerequisites are a completed occupational education as Vehicle Technician with professional experience in advanced technical and management responsibilities in a dealership; alternatively a Bachelor of Science Degree in Automotive Engineering or equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability ● 5 years of test and validation or technical project management experience (ex. Handling/Resolution of Complaints, SW-, Product-, Vehicle-, HW-Testing) ● Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used in vehicle maintenance, diagnosis and repair ● Ability to operate a wide variety of workshop tools and equipment ● Ability to operate and use diagnostic scan tools, scopes, meters, and other test equipment ● Experience in operating data acquisition systems (Dataloggers) for data collection as well as post processing and analysis data using tools (eg. CANoe/Matlab) to validate system performance is desirable ● Fluent Chinese, and Good English skills ● Strong interpersonal and communication skills are an absolute requirement to establish effective working relationships with test team and customer ● Permanent home base is negotiable. Willingness to travel and availability to work for weekends/nights is required ● Driving License for passenger vehicles and more than 3 years driving experience ● Familiarity with commercial aspects and tasks in the service business ● Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines ● Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint) ● Work in a team-based environment to achieve common goals
