Main responsiblity:

• Lead and supervise the Furniture Equipment and Appliances product team business and projects

• Analyze market trends to develop design concepts and assess viability of new design ideas and proposals

• Accurate and in time execution of the defined projects and communicate status and achievements

• Define product development plans based on product gap analysis

• Close work with cross functional teams, Sourcing and Supply Management for business opportunities, suppliers and product developments

• Define and set individual targets for Furniture Equipment and Appliances product team based on business strategies and monitor progress of execution

• Provide and manage the planning, budgeting/cost control, monitoring, assess and documentation on design projects to ensure effective execution of the plan.

• Participate in local and overseas trade shows, factories and suppliers visits to establish relationship and analyze new development and sampling

• Technical mentor and train both product team members and cross functional teams in Furniture Equipment and Appliances Product, Project and Business activities

requirements :

• Degree or above with at least 5 year relevant experience in Mechanical Product and Category Management, preferable in Furniture Equipment such as Storage Systems, Kitchen Fittings, Decorative Fittings or similar

• Strong business analytical skills

• Solid Engineering understanding is positive, but not mandatory

• Background from mechanical product development field is an advantage

• Excellent communications and presentation skills with good command of English and Chinese in both spoken and written.
