· The Product Marketing Manager is accountable for achieving profitable growth of a newly established fiber optic product line by applying fundamental product management methods and tactics to increase sales and meet gross margin targets. · Market research to develop strategic product road maps. Define quality standards for product portfolio. · Supplier monitoring and management with the objective to improve price-performance ratio of current portfolio. Regular vendor meetings, factory acceptance tests. · Market launch of new product developments. Monitor and manage product life cycle. · Preparation and execution of technical training as well as new product introduction. · Prepare marketing communication materials. · International travel for customer meetings, exhibition visits, internal meetings.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor / Master in electrical engineering or equivalent. MBA or equivalent an advantage · Minimum of five years experience in product line management in B2B structure. · Experience working with Fiber Optic communication products, preferably cabling systems. · Excellent business judgement and decision-making capability · Experience managing fiber optical products especially as it relates to pricing, promotion, delivery, and cost reduction to maintain profitability. · Proven product management and analytical skills with a track record of delivering results in a timely, effective manner. · Ability to multi-task and function at a high level in a highly-dynamic environment · Chinese mother tongue. Fluently in English, verbally and in written. · Good presentational speaking skills with ability to create and deliver professional, effective presentations to large audiences (vendors, customers) · Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
