Technical Program Manager (TPM) The TPM ensures project success by scoping, planning, and coordinating project activities, managing the communication of schedules, budget, goals, and deliverables to the project team, and maintaining a continuous dialogue with the customer throughout the process. Candidates must effectively collaborate with customers, contract manufacturers and a variety of peer groups across the organization, including, but not limited to, Factory Management, Supplier Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Test Engineering, Quality, and Hardware/Software Development. Candidate must be able to comfortably lead technical conversations in English with customers, and guide them to a sustainable, cost optimal and innovative solution. You will be part of an experienced team of Supply Chain professionals and Engineers, and you will work closely with the senior leadership team to bring technical solutions, analytic methods, and statistical tools to our business.
About the role Work with leadership to accurately scope, plan and set budget for incoming new projects Determine, manage, and communicate the schedule, budget, project goals and deliverables to your project teams Communicate with customers and suppliers to align on requirements and expectations (PRD) Exercise swift and sound judgement to make critical project changes as required, while assessing risks and controlling scope Own the customer facing communication for multiple projects and ensure clear and efficient communication ismaintained Implement new program management processes and document best practices to improve the efficiency and quality of our work Work closely with engineering teams to effectively coordinate complex design inter-dependencies Lead your teams with strength and confidence through rapid development cycles, changing requirements, and uncertainty
Job Requirements Bachelor or Master degree in related field (Engineering/Electrical appliance/Program Management) 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager (consumer electronics, IoT, medical devices) Experience from various manufacturing technologies and materials Experience managing end-to-end product deployment — from concept through development and successful launch Solid product sense with the ability to understand product architecture and as well as drive and criticize design decisions Experience with complex electromechanical systems and/or safety critical systems is a plus Organized and structured personal characteristics International work environment experience from working with Overseas customers Strong analytical, statistics, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in English, spoken and written Self-motivated, Honest, well-organized, strong sense of responsibility. Report to: Director of Operations Travel: Locally to factories as required.
