The role take charge commodities: Metal Worm/Gear, Stamping (Steel & Non - Steel Type), Plastic Injection (Components & Gears).
RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Develop appropriate strategic sourcing plans to guide the team's sourcing activities 2. Conduct negotiations with suppliers focusing on conditions and terms of purchase contracts. Clear Pure negotiation and VAVE targets (annual negotiation - at least) 3. Support in supplier audits to ensure their operations are in compliance(Customer Audits, AEO doc. & Audits) 4. Make market analysis on commodity basis and offer top management budgeting plans accordingly 5. Industry benchmarking to guide the team's sourcing activities 6. Generation of Standardization and VAVE ideas in consultation with SM based on market and commodity intelligence 7. Supplier consolidation
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: 1. Major in Engineering preferred. Knowledge and experiences in specific commodity will help. 2. 5 years of sourcing experience with at least 2 years of Supply Base Management experience; Team management experience and skillful in supplier development and management; Good communication, coordination and coaching skills; good organization ability 3. Familiar with ERP system and office software esp. good at Excel and PPT and Power BI 4. Fluent oral and written English, CET-6 above (KEY: GOOD COMMUNICATOR, written and oral both) 5. Aggressive and result oriented, 6. Familiar with Industries like Automotive or Medical, (not necessary)
