Accountabilities: 1. Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to assess and select new suppliers. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements. 2. Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams during the new product development process to ensure supplier quality considerations are integrated into the design phase ,work with suppliers to ensure they understand design specifications, quality requirements, and critical-to-quality (CTQ) characteristics for new products. 3. Manage the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) with suppliers to ensure that they can consistently produce parts that meet quality specifications. 4. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as defect rates, on time delivery, and adherence to specifications. 5. Establish and oversee pre-shipment inspection and testing procedures to ensure that supplied products meet quality standards. 6. Lead the investigation of supplier-related quality issues (from production / inspection/testing), including non-conformances, defects, and failures. 7. Work closely with customer service / regional quality and warranty teams to address any supplier-related quality concerns raised by end customers. Analyze customer feedback and warranty data to identify potential supplier quality issues and take corrective action, also 8D follow up. 8.Other temporary works assigned by line manager . Knowledge, Skills & Experience: 1. Bachelor degree , major in Mechanical or Electronic preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier quality engineering, preferably in the domestic appliances industry. 3.Proficiency in quality management systems and tools, including ISO 9001, ISO14001, PPAP, FMEA, and SPC (Statistical Process Control). 4.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supplier management. 5.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams. 6.Hard working and can travel when necessary.
