BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
This position is leading and managing the product safety, electrical and chemical compliance per UL/CSA/IEC/EN standards and EU directives, retailer test for all BUs like air cleaner, hair dryer and kitchenware…etc.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Deep understanding of the standards like UL/IEC for all multiple categories to assess the product safety and compliance like UL859, CSA22.2 No. 36, EU10/2011, RoHS, REACH & Prop 65…etc.
Strong communication skills with different groups like sub-ordinate, peers and manager in both Chinese and English
Proactively manage testing progress and issues with internal lab and external 3rd party agency to improve the timeline and cost
Good leadership mindset and skill to manager and develop the team
Organize and maintain the knowledge database, including the regulatory requirements, provisions and guidance
Deliver the internal compliance training to supplier and internal customer (M)
Can lead and drive the technical discussion with 3rd party and supplier (M)
Solid experience and successful case in handling more than one of our BU product compliance (M)
Experience or skills required
Minimum 8 years solid working experience in household product compliance or testing
Experience in using Windows applications such as Excel, Word, and Power Point
Excellent understanding of regulatory standards
Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English and basic presentation skills
Strong project management skills
