2-5 years of working experience of product development, sourcing and merchandising Extensive knowledge in Home Appliance / Lighting / Consumer Electronic products is a preferable Supplier selection and vendor anagement, ensuring best buy and good services from suppliers Source and review new suppliers’ capabilities to establish long term strategic vendor management program Work with Engineering and QA team to ensure product comply with Australia regulations Manage sample development and follow up production run for all projects Prepare merchandising information and report for project updates e.g. cost sheets, cosmetic specification and relevant documents Coordinate with QA and/or Engineering team on sample process, production orders and delivery status Work with factories and internal logistic team to ensure all shipping documents are in plan for on time shipment Facilitate order placement process with suppliers Strong sourcing and suppliers’ networks; and strong negotiation in pricing and lead time; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin A team player, self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills Less experienced candidates will also be considered as Assistant merchandiser
