Key areas of accountability:
ploy PSS MS, purchasing project management and best practices to manage project development
Lead early supplier involvement (ESI) in *** according to PSS milestone requirements
Train suppliers in *** commercial methodologies making sure that the defined standards are properly applied
Ensure supplier selection:
in accordance with the commodity manager, aligned with the project team and existing supplier panel
lead RFQ & negotiation for local suppliers and participate in negotiations for global or key suppliers in line with defined procedures and commodity delegation
ensure negotiations according to project targets, BC and global purchasing policies
lead PSS Sourcing Committee (PSC) according to existing procedures
Ensure purchasing / supplier performance during the project phase and can close the gap with strive actions proactively
Participate in relevant team meetings representing purchasing
Manage milestone preparation and self assesment in line with PSS MS and best practices ensuring the involvement of the relevant people and existence of action plans to correct deviations for perimeter in charge
Follow up and ensure deployment on time of existing action plans
Communicate and get support from project managers to fullfill project requirements and get support on deviations from other fuctions
Support SQDE team when needed
Ensure early involvement of the plant procurement team in project development and transfer to mass production according to existing best practices
Monitor BOM cost and project life spend performance in project


Qualification:
Bachelor's degree is prefered, engineering background is preferred
6 years solid technical sourcing experience for different commodities or categories at new product creation stage and rich supplier management experience.
Chinese and English both need be very good
Leadership skills, critical thinking, ethical/honest, accountable teamwork, communication skills, and milestone experience.
