JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Supplier Management o Implement and manage supplier balanced scorecard for key supplier base performance. o Take the lead in new and existing supplier base negotiations. o Work with suppliers to improve their performance. o Support sourcing team on re-sourcing and back-up supplier solution. establish long- term win-win partnerships with key suppliers. o Regularly check with the existing vendors about their new products and forward this information to the Sourcing team o Alert the team in advance when spot the potential Supply Chain risk. - 3PL Management o Lead vendor relationship with 3PL. o Work with 3PL to set up the SOP. o Conduct freight control and partner with EL US team to ensure streamlining of transportation and 3PL warehouse management. o Monitor 3PL performance and ensure customer orders processed on time. o Have weekly meetings with 3PL to review the weekly updates. - Supply Chain Process Optimization o Manage SOP for EL China supply chain and PO placement. o Make the supplier performance review scorecard template. o Develop new or adjust existing workflow and work instructions to match business development needs. - Team Management o Manage two direct reports responsible for Purchasing, Logistics, PO management, freight forwarders, and 3PL daily activities. o Provide leadership and guidance to the organizations and inspire and motivate team to continuously improve processes and services. o Provide training to Supply Chain Specialist and Logistics Specialist o Ensure the Logistics Specialist arranges the shipment and updates inbound shipment report accurately and timely. o Ensure the Supply Chain Specialist submits the weekly open PO report in a timely manner.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree in business, Manufacturing, Engineering or Supply China Management. - At least 10 years of working experience in supply chain or similar role with minimum 2 years’ experience in a manger level position. - Working experience in LED lighting or similar industry is preferred. - Excellent command of English both written and spoken. - Skilled in ERP/MRP, familiar with NetSuite will be a plus. - Hands-on experience in purchasing and logistics & warehouse management. - Hands-on experience in developing relationships with vendors. - Excellent negotiation skills – able to negotiate with vendors for business expectations. - Strong leadership skills and ability to build effective teams and drive improvement of cross functional team. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – ability to work with all functions and levels in the organization and regions. - Strong problem solving, tactical thinking & planning skills. Strong ability to deal with complex cases under high pressure. - Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
