Job roles and Responsibilities 1.Certification(CE, ETL, FCC ID, FCC SDoC, MIC, KC, PSE, UKCA, RoHS/REACH, etc.) implementation for all company products. ※ Develop applicable certification plans according to sales countries. ※ Discuss detailed product specifications with labs and ask for certification quotations, negotiate favorable terms with third-party service providers, and institutions to minimize costs. ※ After laboratory determined, preparing certification and technical documents required(battery pack specification/antenna specification/product description/RF specification/critical components list, manuals, labels, schematics and PCB layout, etc.), tuning samples to make them suitable for kinds of testing, write RF test guidance and provide test tools/firmware make sure the tests are performed with correct configuration. ※ Follow up certification project progress and update to involved persons. Make sure to get the certificates and reports on schedule, share the certificates with the relevant departments. 2. Work with EE/ME to solve EMC/safety issues that arise during the testing process, make lesson learn to avoid happening again, review the test report released by lab. 3. Participate in the early design review of new projects to avoid safety defects in advance, make sure the products are totally compliance with the regulation, especially for the EMC part, maybe pre-test is necessary. 4. Compliance inspection for documents include labels, manuals, key components, etc. Responsible for hosting quarterly factory inspections. 5. Research and study certification standards(EN60598, EN61347, EN62368, EN62133, EN55015, EN300220, EN302328, EN301489, UL1573, UL8750, UL2595, UL1310, etc.) and specifications and maintain certificates up to date. 6. Training to the team about safety test requirements, points that require engineers’ attention when designing products and the latest regulatory requirement, this enhances our engineers’ capability in designing products with consideration of the safety requirements. 7. Provide strong support and answer the question about the compliance from customers, handle other laboratory testing requests. 8.
