The Project Costing Asst Manager is to support new projects (including NPI, RFQ and innovation projects) as sourcing representative. You will be responsible for CBOM Cost Management, including CBOM Cost update based on design and market change, cost summary and report, cost analysis and changelog management, cost opportunity and risk identification, CPM Analysis; BOM Part decision alignment with cross-functional team including decision of New/Carryover, make/buy, and critical parts identification; sourcing plan management; coordination within sourcing for parts status track of new sample/prototypes, tooling, DFM, documents of CDF/FCM, ECR/ECR, etc; and coordination with internal stake holders (PM, DD, SQE, TS, MCE, Controller) and externally with suppliers.
RESPONSIBILITIES 1.Project BOM Cost track and management, include CBOM Cost update based on design and market change, cost summary and report, cost analysis and changelog management, cost opportunity and risk identification, CPM Analysis, etc. 2.Sourcing plan management, including new part new supplier status, critical parts risk assessment status, tooling status track. 3.Bom part decision alignment with cross-functional team including decision of New/Carryover, Make/buy, critical parts. 4.To attend project meetings as representative of Sourcing team and ensure that actions are tracked and well followed up. 5.ECR/ECN Change in new projects track and cost update accordingly 6.To support VAVE discuss between suppliers and cross function teams when cost down & profit improvement needed. 7.To support new projects from sourcing side, coordinate activities as new sample/prototypes, tooling, DFMA, Documents collection of CDF/FCM, etc
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED 1.At least 6 years and above experience in project costing or project sourcing related, preferably focused on a manufacturing environment such as industries in home appliance and auto. 2.Good understanding of overall project cost management, CBOM Cost analysis and report. 3.Good understanding of products and parts, including TCO and Cost Breakdown Concept, procurement tools and manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, electronics, etc. 4.Good understanding of project management, schedule management from sourcing side in each gate and milestone. 5.Good written and verbal communication skill in English. Be able to converse and relate to key stakeholders, preferable with experience in global multinational teams. 6.Able to think strategically and work independently, problem solving skill 7.With clear and logical sense to handle different information from different counterparts, good data analysis capability and summary skill 8.Good skills in MS office, especially in Excel and PPT. Power BI plus.
