Requirements 1-Fluent English in speaking, listening, reading and writing. 2-Proficient in MCAD tools for designing and evaluating 3D & 2D MCAD. 3-Experience with mechanical tolerance analysis, GD&T, mechanical fabrication methods and mechanical design of fixtures and mechanisms. 4-Experience with mechanical control systems is desirable. 5-Willing to travel at home and abroad。 Responsibilities Fixture Design and Development 1-Design and optimize test fixtures in partnership with the Fixture Design Lead and Station DRI to meet test coverage requirements. 2-Conduct and communicate DFM feedback between the CM, vendor and Fixture Design Lead. 3-Complete mechanical tolerance analysis using GD&T. 4-Hold design reviews for peer, safety and ergonomics feedback. 5-Track and report open issues and progress with radars and emails. 6-Coordinate logistics for fixture vendors, CM, and others, when applicable. 7-(Potential) Co-develop new test stations with fixture design team. Station Bring-up 1-Support mechanical OQC during the vendor design and build phase. 2-Verify mechanical functionality and maintenance of the test station. 3-Setup including test stations in Cupertino dry runs and/or factory lines in China. 4-FA and root cause fixture issues while simultaneously providing recommendations for mechanical design improvements. 5-Review station SOP documentation and provide input/feedback for mechanical content. 6-Evaluate station mechanical performance and provide summary of mechanical issues or recommended improvements to the Fixture Design Lead. 7-Train and manage hand-off to CM ME in partnership with the Fixture Design ME Lead. 8-Capable of sustaining the test station during engineering builds and to conduct DOEs to optimize station performance. Mechanical Debug and Risk Assessment 1-Create Radars to track all mechanical design, de-bug and DFM issues with unfamiliar station. 2-Report the following back to the Fixture Design Lead in real time. 3-Confirmation of IQC mechanical compliance. 4-Station bring-up, mechanical status and results. 5-Root cause investigation results with failure rate, symptoms. 6-Feedback and next steps for the system.
