You will join a multicultural and cross-disciplinary environment with internal and external development teams around the world. As a mechanical engineer in development center, you will participate project from concepting, product development until product launch, as well as product life cycle support. More specifically, you will have below key Responsibilities:
? Lead mechanical design and development from defined product specifications and requirements for audio and video products.
? Evaluate and assess mechanical and tooling solutions proposed by suppliers to ensure final products meet the required quality and performance standards.
? Drive and evaluate supplier capability as per the engagement evaluation process.
? Ensure that mechanical and tooling solutions proposed by suppliers align with expected product quality, performance standards, and cost targets.
? Possess comprehensive technical knowledge in overall product development, including materials, structural integrity, thermal management, manufacturing processes, tooling design, and related simulations.
? Ability to work closely with various engineering disciplines to drive an in-depth assessment of mechanical solutions.
? Capability to identify and correlate potential risks in mechanical and tooling solutions and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
? Strong and effective collaboration in driving solutions with project and core engineering disciplines, as well as with internal and external stakeholders.

Great stakeholder management skills and vast experience
As a person, you possess strong communication skills, enabling you to build good relationships with external and internal stakeholders at all levels. You have a strong determination and drive, even when things are challenging.
Primary External Relations:
? Engage with suppliers for technical engagement, capability evaluation, design implementation, and tooling considerations.
? Collaborate with suppliers for material selection and specification alignment, including tooling materials.
? Assess, evaluate, and validate mechanical and tooling designs.
Primary Internal Relations:
? Work as the ME PM on program scoping, execution, risk management, and tooling timelines and budgets to ensure ME development meets GN’s requirements.
? Align with engineering disciplines and product managers to ensure product specifications meet market needs, considering the implications of tooling choices.
? Drive in-depth technical assessment with respective engineering disciplines, with a focus on mechanical solutions and tooling.
Professional Skills:
? Bachelor's or master’s in engineering or related fields.
? At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Experience in TWS/mobile is preferred.
? Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
? Highly experienced 3D CAD user, such as PTC Creo.
? Great spoken and written English.
