Job Description: We are seeking a skilled ME Decorations Engineer to join our team in the Shenzhen area. The ideal candidate will be capable of engaging in deep decoration work as well as mechanical engineering design tasks. This role involves extensive interaction with med-high volume tooling and manufacturing methods specifically for high-end electronic devices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience: Minimum of 8 years in tooling and manufacturing for electronic devices. Technical Skills: Proficiency in injection molding techniques, including multi-shot and insert molding. In-depth knowledge of plastics and metals, including experience with compression molding, liquid injection molding, and various metal fabrication methods (progressive die/stage tooling, die-casting for aluminum and magnesium, metal injection molding, forging/forming, extrusion, and medium-high volume machining). Hands-on experience with material analysis and chemical analysis tools, material microstructure analysis, metallography, polymer materials analysis, and surface treatment or CMF (Color, Material, & Finish) processes and techniques. Familiarity with a variety of finishing processes such as PVD, NCVM, anodizing, plating, painting, polishing, and chemical etching. Expertise in rapid prototyping tooling. Proficient in 3D CAD, preferably Pro-Engineer. Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple vendors to support development schedules and production volumes. Cost Management: Strong capability in estimating part manufacturing costs. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficient program management abilities.
