Job Role & Responsibilities
? Create, maintain and control the project schedule and dashboard, facilitate meetings, and proactively identify risks to the project.?
? Managing various New Product Development
? Planning and managing resources for new projects.
? Interacting with various stake holders and keeping control of all project related communication
? Coordinating with Production team for Ramp up and commercial supplies to the customer.
? Cross Functional management and reporting for projects. Managing inter department and intra department coordination in the organization for all project related activities and decisions.
? Preparing monthly project reports for status updates
? Organizing and leading various project review meetings at scheduled frequency
? Monitoring and controlling the Projects budget.
? Implementing NPI process and stage wise deliverables for projects
? Supporting plant on lean activities / projects
? Managing product costs during early life cycle
? Supporting plant team for various trials and sampling requests
? Shepherd the Project Team through the Release process, being mindful of all requirements.?
? Facilitate program?communications, identify and implement continuous improvement practices, and provide regular status reports as required.

Technical Skills:
? 5+ years of project management experience, Master's degree and PMI Certification a plus
? Strong experience in the area of Enclosure designs (plastic design / Sheetmetal / casting), Electro-mechanical product design and good understanding of manufacturing processes
? Understanding on electronic components, IP ratings & EMI shielding design
? New Product Introduction (NPI) techniques.
? DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly)
? Hands on experience in using CAD tool CREO and PDM tools like, Windchill and Teamcenter
? Mobile devices, Laptops, Gaming devices - Product design (or enclosure design/electro-mechanical system design) experience will be an added advantage
? Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
? Ability to read/understand engineering drawings and apply GD&T on component drawings, Good knowledge in ASME Y14.5
? Ability to understand design requirement, material requirement and functionality of components.
? Ability to provide design solutions and cost-effective ideas during the tool build.
? Able to work with large assemblies
? Should be owning and responsible for mechanical product design and need to interact with other stake holders from the cross-functional teams and production
? Interact with testing team for Mechanical design verification
? Ability to independently organize and prioritize multiple tasks to ensure timely completion.
? Must be creative, self-motivated, and be able to work effectively on projects with minimal direct supervision.
? Good verbal and written communications skills and the ability to resolve technical issues while maintaining a good working relationship with development partners, customers, and internal employees.
? Ability to work well with others.
? Knowledge/background in electronics industry.
? Must possess strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills; ability to foresee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plan and mitigate subsequent issues.
? The ideal candidate will have high-powered analytical skills and the ability to understand concepts and situations that pass by many others.
? Must have excellent communication skills, experience working with external vendors, and strong project management skills.
