1.Effectively locate and evaluate potential suppliers of their capability and opportunities with Staples for new products or re-sourcing, accumulate a pool of potential suppliers. Independently manage Vendor set-up and maintenance process. Facilitate orientation for vendors to understand Staples’ rules, regulations and operations. 2.Initiate new projects and identify cost saving opportunities, with a deep understanding of the process and decision making process back in headquarters. 3.Facilitate bids among qualified vendors, conduct cost comparison and assess samples and make presentation/recommendation to US. Win the trust and maintain a good relationship with the US brand team and the merchants. Being creative in the way of presenting products to US. 4.Independently manage new product development, working closely with QA/QC and operation team, ensure speed to the market. 5.Lead negotiate all aspects of product cost, packaging, manufacturing lead time and business terms with new and existing factories. Rich knowledge & experience in benchmarked cost information. 6.Instrumental in the training, orientation, coaching and development of new and junior associates.
Job Requirements: 1.Main subject: Electronic/electric engineering or related; 2.5 years working experience, working background sourcing office is preferred but factories engineers can also be considered; 3.Colleague English Test Level 4 or above; 4.Meaningful product development, project management experience; 5.Good communication skill 6.Willing to travel
