Position Purpose Responsible for the overall development, implementation and progress of strategic business targets. This position is involved in managing and directing the work of the respective business unit. Is focused on policy and strategy implementation. Oversee a business development team which evaluates, analyzes, and formulates strategies for business growth. Oversee the development of key projects and is accountable for the successful closure of business deals. Direct the planning and preparation of business proposals and make recommendations to senior management. Negotiate letters of intent, memoranda of understanding, contracts and acquisition agreements. Job Responsibilities 1. Understand the company’s financial and service objectives and develop sales plans to meet those goals. 2. Identify and target prospective leads, make contact and develop sustained business to business relationships by aggressively pursuing all leads and transitioning them into clients. 3. Research the target markets to develop a full understanding of the potential for innovative services. 4. Identify new service demands of the client and work with company management in developing innovative programs to meet those demands. 5. Develop knowledge and expertise of client procurement procedures to ensure engagement with the customer in the planning and implementation stages of the contract. 6. Support and create proposals/quotes in collaboration with colleagues from other departments 7. Be receptive and understanding to clients’ changing needs and promote innovation to meet these needs. 8. Have inventive business development skills and can display negotiation skills with a high level of enthusiasm. 9. Manage and generate weekly and monthly sales production reports 10. Organize customer outings sponsored by the company and its vendors to enhance customer relationships. 11. Identify and attend trade shows and conventions representing the company in a professional manner while gathering leads and contacts. 12. Act as a liaison between the customer, customer success, and operations teams to facilitate after-sale service and support during client implementation. 13. Present Sales Plan and figures to Top Management. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies 1. Plastic injection molding and tooling sales’ experience is essential 2. 5+ years in business-to-business sales with long sales cycle skills is required. 3. Strong networking and people skills are required. 4. An intermediate level of Microsoft Office Suite with an intermediate proficiency level in Word and Excel is required. 5. Must be able to multi-task in addition to recognizing and adhering to deadlines. 6. Must be able to plan, initiate, and carry out both short and long-term plans and goals. 7. Must be able to communicate effectively between several stakeholders and clients. 8. Must be able to work with limited direction and supervision. 9. Must be able to travel a lot. 10. Good Command of English, Chinese, written and spoken.
