Responsibilities: 1. Participate in design/manufacturing capability reviews for new or transferred projects with suppliers. 2. Support project teams in the new product development process and contribute quality-related insights. 3. Lead product qualification and production part approval processes. 4. Assess the measurement systems of both our internal QA Lab and suppliers. 5. Develop standard inspection procedures for on-site inspections and in-process audits. 6. Assist the QC team in troubleshooting quality issues from internal and external customers.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related fields focusing on Metal and Plastic. 2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing quality assurance, with at least 2 years in supplier quality management and new project development. Experience in tooling design or manufacturing engineering is a bonus. 3. Basic understanding of system certifications like ISO 9000 and familiarity with quality improvement tools such as FMEA, SPC, and 6-Sigma. Experience in 6-Sigma projects or utilizing TS five Quality tools is preferred. 4. Knowledge of manufacturing processes for kitchen and outdoor appliances, including gas, electronic/electrical, PCBA, metal fabrication, surface coating, plastic injection molding, tooling design, electric plating, powder coating, and finished goods packaging. 5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with various departments as a team player. 6. Proficiency in both written and spoken English to participate in weekly phone conferences with the US team. 7. Solid experience in communicating with foreigners via email and phone is essential.
