The Role The Manager will lead and oversee the warehouse operations team, ensuring the efficient and effective management of all warehouse activities. This role involves strategic planning, process optimization, and team leadership to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse and the timely fulfillment of orders. The Manager will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operations. Responsibilities 1) Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the warehouse operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure team members are meeting or exceeding expectations. 2) Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize warehouse operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. Oversee the end-to-end order lifecycle management, ensuring timely and accurate order processing and fulfillment. 3) Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse processes and enhance operational efficiency. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to drive operational excellence. 4) Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs) to make informed decisions that optimize warehouse operations. Monitor and analyze warehouse metrics to identify trends, address issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. 5) Problem Solving and Creativity: Proactively identify and address supply chain issues and bottlenecks, applying creative problem-solving techniques to find efficient solutions. Manage complex operational challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to warehouse operations. 6) Customer Focus: Maintain a customer-centric mindset, ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. 7) Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including production, logistics, and customer service, to facilitate smooth order fulfillment and resolve any cross-functional challenges. Coordinate with suppliers and external partners to ensure seamless integration of warehouse operations with the broader supply chain. 8) Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Maintain accurate records and documentation of warehouse operations for reporting and auditing purposes. Qualifications 1) Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 2) 5+ years experience in warehouse operations, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end order processes, inventory management, and logistics coordination. Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and logistics operations and inventory management practices. 3) Demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams, with a strong focus on performance management and team development. 4) Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, draw meaningful insights, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in using PowerBI, SmartSheet, Excel, Google Sheets, and other relevant tools for data analysis and reporting. 5) Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams, external partners, and customers. 6) Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when necessary. 7) A proactive and self-motivated approach to identifying and addressing operational issues. A mindset that “Good isn’t good enough” and a continuous drive to raise the standard of performance and efficiency within warehouse operations. 8) Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
