The Role The Specialist helps ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of master data across the organization. This role will involve supporting data governance strategies and contributing to the optimization of data processes.
Key Responsibilities 1) Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Assist in establishing and enforcing data governance policies and procedures to maintain the accuracy and consistency of master data across the supply chain. Support data quality management practices to identify and help rectify data discrepancies and errors. Participate in monitoring and auditing data quality, helping to implement corrective actions as needed. 2) Supplier and Product Data Management: Support the collection, validation, and maintenance of supplier data, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Assist in maintaining product data, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs. 3) Integration and System Management: Assist in the integration of master data across various systems and platforms within the supply chain. Support the seamless flow of data between global logistics, domestic logistics, and Amazon FBA services, minimizing disruptions and inefficiencies. 4) Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, tech, and sales, to support the alignment of data management practices with business objectives. Coordinate with suppliers, primarily in China, to assist in timely and accurate data exchange and help resolve data-related issues. 5) Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to assist in streamlining data processes and enhance efficiency. Contribute to the continuous evaluation and improvement of data management processes to boost efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness. 6) Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Support the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data quality and supply chain efficiency. Assist in generating regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into data management performance and support decision-making. 7) Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams and suppliers on data management tools, standards, and procedures. Ensure that all stakeholders understand and adhere to established data governance policies and practices.
Qualifications 1) Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 2) 2+ years of experience in data management. 3) Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data management tools. 4) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 5) Experience with data governance frameworks and best practices. 6) Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, PowerBI. 7) Positive attitude, reliable, transparent and enjoy working with people from different cultural backgrounds and across different time zones. 8) Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 9) Demonstrated ability to persuade others through effective verbal and written communication. 10) Ability to speak and write in Chinese and English fluently.
