Role: Support sourcing and purchase follow up activities of assigned categories/customers.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage to source, cost comparison and price negotiation with suppliers. 2. Maintain daily communication with suppliers, vendor and other departments within the company to ensure the process run smoothly and product development timelines are met. 3. Ensure the product meet quality standard and customer’s expectations. 4. Coordinate with product development teams and factories to ensure that the new products are developed with customer requirements and are able to be manufactured within given timeline. 5. Handle sample process, including creating samples, organizing and managing incoming and outgoing samples, as well as coordinating sample reviews and approvals. 6. Record, document, and create all sample and production information, include product specification, sample approvals. 7. To assist other ad-hoc projects as assigned and to provide support to manager.
Skillset Requirements: 1. Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin. 2. 3-5 year work experience in merchandising arena on products such as plush, home décor, gardening, promotional, etc. 3. Able to work in fast pace and high pressure environment. 4. Self-motivated, organized, responsible, hardworking, and independent.
