We are now looking for a high caliber person to join our Group:
RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Lead and direct quality-related functions of all operating plants to identify and manage product safety risks; to resolve problems with product safety concern; and to set and implement improvement action plans 2. Establish policies, programs and procedures across all operating plants that will effectively upgrade the Company’s product safety standards and to support the short term and long term growth of the Company 3. Maintain current knowledge of trends and changes affecting product safety and to develop and recommend appropriate program changes to ensure compliance; research & establish global best practices and standards on product safety and apply where necessary 4. Manage and coordinate product safety crisis situations; render technical support to Divisions under the guidance of Group RND/Technical Director for generation of effective remedial actions during the course of product safety crisis with the aim of stifle risk exposure of LS products in the market at pre-set quality traceability time-lines 5. To serve as main coordinator in case of product quality crisis by assisting the Group R&D Director to obtain reliable data so so to support the ultimate resolution. 6. Liaise with Divisions or Functions within the Company to achieve the product safety objectives set by the Company 7. Monitor and ensure the full compliance of operating plants to the approved product safety practices and policies 8. Contact point to coordinate with both PRC &HK Government food safety, technical inspection bureau 技術監督局, health department..etc and quasi-government bodies like consumer council to keep abreast of latest requirements on food/operational health as well asproduct compliances. 9. To disseminate the abovementioned requirements to QA/QMD as well as production operatives.
REQUIREMENTS 1. Degree holder in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or related disciplines 2. Minimum 15 years’ experience in food manufacturing or related industry with 10 years in a management role of Quality Management or Food Safety 3. 6-8 year experience in operation of Quality, R&D or Production Experience
