Responsibilities: 1. Drive marketing initiatives on local platforms (e.g. WeChat, Xiaohongshu) 2. Stay up-to-date with local trends, ensuring transcreated content is relevant to the market 3. Maintain and update the Chinese version of the website, ensuring alignment with the English version 4. Act as a point of contact for Chinese media related enquiries and respond as necessary 5. Work closely with the Commercial functions in head office and Chinese agencies to transcreate and drive campaigns to launch new products or solutions 6. Support local Chinese team with creating assets for local trade shows and events, ensuring alignment with ESL brand 7. Assist with the procurement and distribution of staff and customer giveaways 8. Enforce brand guidelines wherever deviation is seen across the group 9. Perform ad hoc customer service-related tasks as assigned by local CS manager Requirements: 1. Bachelor degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications 2. 2 - 3 years’ experience in B2B marketing, preferably with experience in online and social media portals or digital marketing 3. Excellent command of Mandarin – ability to write witty copy 4. Strong English proficiency (level 6 or higher) 5. An analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to identify problems and conceptualise solutions. 6. Team-oriented, motivated by proactive collaboration across teams, functions and geographies. 7. Drive for results, willing to take ownership and follow through on deliverables. 8. In-depth knowledge of the Chinese market and its specific challenges and opportunities.
