Overall Responsibilities Handle Accessories Production Management, managing the offshore production team, ensure good quality, accurate documentation and on time delivery. *Lead the team, vendors and factories to manage the very best product quality and on-time delivery. *Closely monitor the offshore production merchandising team on a daily basis. *Proactively coordinate with all stakeholders, including the New York production team, the operations management (OM) team, and the offshore production team to resolve a variety of issues. *Identify and resolve quality issues in collaboration with the factory and QA/QC team. *Analyze production work-in-progress (WIP) with the factory and offshore team, identify bottlenecks in the production line, and ensure on-time delivery. *Collaborate with OM, Merchandising, and the New York team to ensure all purchase orders (POs) are input into the system promptly. *Identify and resolve packaging and ticketing issues to ensure they do not impact delivery schedules. *Review new developments or adopted styles with Hong Kong Technical team to ensure the product offer is backed-up by excellent quality. *Solve problems and deal with issues professionally and promptly as they arise. *Closely follow up on critical path with team and solve problems (if arise) in the process. *Delegate tasks and responsibilities, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance reviews. *Provide guidance and support to ensure the team's professional growth and development. *Guide the team input and analyzing data, Review and contribute to regular reports. *Foster collaboration between teams to align efforts and achieve business goals. Additional Requirements *Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or a related field *At least 10 years of proven experience in merchandising *Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team *Knowledge of handbag manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim, and print techniques *Proven track record of driving team results and achieving goals *Thrives in fast-paced, changing environments and proactively navigates challenges *Creative mindset with an eye for product presentation and visual aesthetics *Up-to-date on the latest merchandising trends and best practices *Strong negotiation, vendor management, and collaboration abilities *Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills *Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe products Competency Requirements (if applicable) Behavioral Competencies: *Decision Making *Communication *Collaboration *Conflict Management and Problem Solving *Driving Execution *Be transparent *Think positive *Self-driven Language Proficiency: Fluent in: English, Mandarin is a plus.
