Purpose of Job 61 Act as the first point of contact for visitors and enquiries to Harrow Shenzhen and be an ambassador for the school. 61 Undertake a range of other tasks as identified by the Line Manager 61 Provide high quality and sustainable support to whole school under the supervision of line manager Duties and Responsibilities Provide Effective, Proactive and Friendly Front Desk Service 61 Answer and respond telephone inquiries in a professional manner, as receptionist 61 Greet and receive visitors to the school and make them feel welcome and comfortable when they wait in the receptionist area 61 Ensure the receptionist area is a friendly, clean and professional environment for all visitors, staff and students. 61 Be responsible for booking flowers for reception, common room and other school events or personal affairs, handling and following through of payment applications 61 Be responsible for the lost and found 61 Support to record and report student attendance 61 Direct and support visitors and parents to the relevant contact information for the department as required Parents Communications 61 Email handling and communication with school stakeholders 61 To assist implementing policies, procedures and systems related to communication between the school, and its stakeholders 61 To keep abreast and inform of developments in communications, and how they may impact the school 61 Make recommendations to improve communications between the school and its stakeholders 61 To produce data on parent feedback from staff, telephone, and various parent committees 61 To work cross-functionally and be the liaison between the school's various departments, and provide constructive feedback for stakeholders 61 Be a back-up of administrative tasks as necessary Other 61 Undertake tasks as assigned by line manager Requirements Minimum Academic Degree required 61 Diploma in Business Administration, English Language or other relevant fields 61 Evidence of commitment to continued professional development. Experience 61 Good communication skill and willingness to learn and develop self 61 Smart and business-like appearance. 61 Have taken at least 1 year’s customer oriented position. 61 Experience in International school settings would be highly valued.
