We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineering (EE) Sourcing Project Manager to facilitate the sourcing of engineering components during the early development phases of acoustics-related products.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in supply chain management, technical sourcing, and supplier negotiation, along with a deep understanding of semiconductor supply chains, especially in China mainland.
【Responsibilities】 61 Identify and source components and systems that meet technical and commercial requirements for acoustics-related products. 61 Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal terms while balancing technical feasibility, quality, volume demands, and manufacturing requirements. 61 Develop and align category strategies across multiple functions, considering global supply market trends and internal requirements. 61 Maintain in-depth knowledge of the semiconductor supply chain and IC industry, especially for applications in acoustics. 61 Monitor supply chain delivery and capacity risks, implementing mitigation plans to ensure uninterrupted material supply. 61 Achieve project targets related to materials, timelines, and costs. 61 Develop forward-costing models and conduct benchmarking for current and new products. 61 Ensure cost savings through effective cost analysis and trend tracking. 61 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of supply chain strategies.
【Minimum Qualifications】 61 Fluent in English. 61 Proven experience in sourcing and supply chain management, particularly in the consumer electronics sector. 61 Strong knowledge of China’s local semiconductor and IC supply chains. 61 Ability to analyze and align technical requirements with supplier capabilities.
【Preferred Qualifications】 61 8–10 years of experience in global supply chain management within the consumer electronics industry. 61 Project management experience would be preferred. 61 Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams to execute sourcing strategies. 61 Solid understanding of purchasing concepts and processes, with a focus on driving supplier performance. 61 Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
