1、Manage MGA’s Customs IP Protection in China (30%):
- Work as a part of MGA’s Legal team to ensure that Customs recordation is efficiently implemented with proper filings and delivery of Customs trainings.
- Maintain good relations with various Customs offices across China and follow the seizures of counterfeit MGA products.
- Work and liaise within MGA’s internal teams to assist with the authentication of products and licensed articles and ensure the quick release of authorized products.

2、Support MGA’s Deterrent Efforts to IP Violations and Illicit Trade at Marketplace (40%):
- Ensure that MGA’s trademarks, copyrights and other IP are protected and enforced across the Chinese digital marketplace; support Global Legal team’s digital efforts.
- Undertake analysis of infringement data to provide insights into evolving issues and trends to the broader teams.
- Identify, investigate, and take action against online threats; manage investigations from service providers as necessary; support full spectrum online-to-offline strategies.
- Design a consolidated database to enable monitoring, analytics and protection over counterfeits and product leaks on key social media; and prepare weekly updates on active offenders.

3、Support Legal’s Tech Solution to Improve Productivity (30%):
- Design a system to streamline the request of third-party/Licensees’ Customs filings.
- Assist in issues related to product security, work with Product Security team to develop end-to-end sample management systems.

Education/Experience:
- LLB or bachelor’s degree in computer science, or E-commerce.
- Paralegal/legal or compliance experience preferred.
- E-commerce working experience is a plus.

Skills/Knowledge/Ability:
- Good written and verbal skills in English and Mandarin/Cantonese essential.
- Strong IT skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Good team player who can work well independently and proactively, as well as part of MGA’s global teams spread across different locations.
- Openness to ideas, and an ability to initiate change and influence others.
- Willingness to travel if required.
