Job Responsibilities 1.Work closely with cross functional departments (such as PROD, ME, NPD, Marketing etc.) to promptly obtain detailed information about product failures, including key data such as the model, batch, usage environment, failure time, and description of failure phenomena of the failed products. 2.Systematically sort and classify the collected failure information and establish a detailed failure case database to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and traceability of the information, providing a solid data foundation for subsequent analysis work. 3.Utilize professional knowledge and extensive experience to conduct a comprehensive and detailed visual inspection, physical property testing, on the failed products to accurately identify and determine the failure modes. 4.For the identified failure modes, conduct in-depth research on the failure mechanisms. Employ microscopic analysis techniques, material composition analysis, and simulation analysis methods to deeply explore the physical, chemical, or mechanical processes that lead to failure and uncover the internal factors causing the failure. 5.Start from various aspects such as product design, raw material selection, manufacturing process, assembly process, usage conditions, and maintenance, and conduct a thorough investigation and analysis of the factors that may lead to failure. 6.Based on the process and results of failure analysis, create detailed, professional, and highly readable failure analysis reports. The content of the report should include key parts such as information about the failed product, description of the failure phenomenon, determination of the failure mode, analysis of the failure mechanism, tracing of the root causes, suggestions for preventive measures, and conclusion summary. 7.Based on the root causes determined by failure analysis, collaborate with NPD, ME, PROD, QA and other departments to formulate practical and effective preventive measures to prevent the recurrence of similar failure problems. 8.Track and supervise the implementation process of preventive measures to ensure that all measures are effectively implemented. Regularly collect and evaluate the effect feedback data after the implementation of preventive measures. By comparing and analysing the number of failure cases, changes in product quality indicators, etc., verify the effectiveness of the preventive measures. 9.Upgrade LL data base and give suggestion to NPD team to deploy the new projects
Job Requirement: 1.College or above,Electrical / Mechanical / Engineering Major. 2.10 years or above working experience in manufacturing plant on quality.Including 5 years or above working experience on failure investigation. 3. Quality issue handling knowledge, understand how to handle with different dept. 4. Quality tools, such as R - FMEA / CP / MSA / SPC / 8D / 5Why / FTA / Fish bone / DOE / Minitab... 5. Investigation & assessment skills, know well about EDS / FTIR / Cross section / SEM… 6.Quick decision making with effective problem-solving capability 7.Good logic thinking 8.Proactive working attitude with strong teamwork spirit 9.Teamwork player with good communication skills, self-motivation, willing to change under big pressure 10.Good learning capability 11.Fluent oral & written English
