The Lead Engineer – Product Development plans and conducts activities to identify, define, and prove feasibility for innovative life inspired home cleaning product concepts. In this key role, the Lead Engineer will plan and monitor the Research & Development activities carried out by BISSELL and other suppliers’ technical staff. This Engineer will provide technical direction and communications on projects beginning with ideas and culminating in approved Basis of Interest documents which initiate new Product Development projects.

·020202020202 Establish the technical concept definition (PRSD) and plan and undertake feasibility studies necessary to support a Marketing “Basis of Interest” for assigned projects.02 Design, build, and test breadboards to answer specific questions, ensuring they are suitable to resolve feasibility questions.02 Apply scientific expertise to isolate and separate variables to clearly understand and test the subject phenomenon.02 Take ownership of assigned projects by setting challenging goals and driving the projects to proven (or disproved) feasibility and approved Basis of Interest documents.02 Take responsibility for resolving issues and questions.

Degree minimum: Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Master is preferred)
Experience level: 10 years minimum in master degree and 13 + Bachelor
