Responsibilities: 61 Study and Understand the Shipping Manual of our customers; 61 Implement customers' shipping instructions and work with their vendors and freight forwarders; 61 Work with Logistics team to prepare shipping guidelines for vendors according to customers’ shipping manual or their shipping and documents requirement; 61 Act as a source of logistics advice for in-house and overseas customers at the operation level on shipping, payment and trade compliance matters; 61 Manage Logistics team to provide information and guidance to Connor teams, clients, and vendors globally by pointing them in the right direction to resolve their problems as necessary; 61 Effectively distribute Customs and Logistics News to Connor teams; 61 Continuously exam the process, procedures, work load to ensure proper organization and resources allocation are in place; 61 Problem solving on shipping, documentation and payment issues; 61 Ensure Logistics team to post shipments in system in timely manner; 61 Handle ad-hoc project and provide support for any ad-hoc requirements from clients or internal departments if needed; 61 Manage and monitor Connor Product Liability Insurance Policy (PLI) with Logistics team and expand PLI income.
Job Requirements: 61 Bachelor's Degree holder in logistics, supply chain or relevant discipline 61 At least 5 years in management of logistics/shipping department; 61 Effective leadership, negotiation and problem solving skills; 61 Dynamic and well-versed in handling wide range of forwarders; 61 Required to perform a strategic role in managing logistics operation; 61 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) 61 Able to work independently, proactively, Self-motivated, well organized 61 Travel to Shenzhen office is occasionally required 61 Good PC skills, including MS Word, Excel; 61 Knowledge of merchandising, US/EU custom requirement, trade and vendor compliance is a plus.
