Job Objectives: - Conduct incoming inspection and quality control of key components for self-driving trucks. - Organize and perform comparative testing and experiments on critical components to assess performance and reliability. - Select and procure appropriate testing and measurement equipment within China, ensuring compatibility with self-driving truck systems. - Plan, organize, and oversee testing activities at dedicated test grounds. - Collect, analyze, and document test data and statistics, ensuring rigorous tracking of results for ongoing improvements. - Supplier Relations: Identify reliable suppliers for testing and measurement equipment, and establish long-term cooperation agreements to meet project requirements. - Test Organization: Build and streamline processes for organizing and managing tests at designated testing sites to ensure efficiency and accuracy. - Component Testing Contractors: Identify and establish relationships with local testing contractors to support on-site component evaluation and validation.
Job Requirements: Mandatory: - In-depth understanding of the architecture and functionality of electronic devices, particularly in automotive and autonomous vehicle systems. - Strong hands-on experience with Linux and command-line interfaces for data analysis and testing operations. - Expertise in using advanced measuring and testing equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, analyzers, etc.) for component evaluation. - Proven ability to work with and interpret design, technological, and engineering documentation. - Familiarity with standards and regulatory frameworks in the automotive industry, with a focus on self-driving and autonomous systems.
Desirable: - Experience with industrial communication interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, LIN, J1939, particularly in automotive and autonomous vehicle applications. - Proficiency in using collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation software. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): - Speed and Quality of Incoming Inspections: Ensuring components meet the required specifications upon arrival with minimal delays. - Test Execution and Reporting Quality: Delivering accurate, detailed, and comprehensive test reports on schedule, with actionable insights based on test results.
