About the Job
We are currently seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join our new China Sourcing team.
Experience in Outdoor Adventure, Camping, 4 Wheel drive, Boating & water sports, RV & Caravan & Sports essential.
Reporting to the Head of Sourcing, your focus will be supporting the category team based in Australia & New Zealand. You will be driving the sourcing and procurement for existing & new product. You will have responsibility for executing sourcing plans leveraging sourcing tools, processes and strategies. Responsibilities
61 Work close with Category Team to source and develop products and to drive activities on supporting business needs and achieve procurement metrics goals like costing, reliability, on-time delivery.
61 Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with internal stakeholders, peers, and key or high impact suppliers
61 Identify suitable suppliers and make recommendations to internal stakeholders.
61 Drive product cost improvement projects and price reduction initiatives.
61 Assure social and legal compliancy of the supply base.
61 Continuously seek new innovations and product opportunities at existing/new suppliers, which meet requirements from the Category team
61 Source from multiple media, websites, trade shows (Canton Fair, CIHS, etc.) for new suppliers / new products in China and Southeast Asia
61 Manage new suppliers onboarding, including business introduction, terms and conditions, procedures and regulations.
61 Monitor the progress of new item development from draft, design, sampling and approval before transition to merchandising
61 Generate documents and presentations about products, market trends and competitor specific analysis
61 Continuous monitoring of supplier’s performance: R&D capability, on-time delivery, quality, cost and service
61 Remain up to date with industry developments, market trends and best practices
61 Develop processes and procedures to ensure efficient product sourcing operations
61 Travel is required mainly in South China and occasionally to all over the country

Qualifications
61 Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
61 3-5 Years Minimum Experience, knowledge and experience of global sourcing, international trading, Outdoor Adventure Products is preferred
61 Proven track record in sourcing and supplier relationship management
61 Strong business and financial foresight
61 A good negotiator with superior attention to detail
61 Self-motivated, well-organized, accountable, proactive with a positive mindset
61 Interpersonal skills - exceptional listening, understanding, influencing and communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills
61 Possess experience in working with international counterpart office is an advantage
61 Fluency in English and Mandarin written & spoken
