About the role:
We have recently opened and created a new Quality & Logistics hub in Shenzhen. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual for the role of Operations Manager, to lead our newly established Quality Hub in Shenzhen. The successful candidate will oversee and manage operations, ensuring the highest quality standards, efficiency, and expansion. Managing will be key, with additional focus on hiring, and overseeing a high-performing team to support the hub’s growth and success.
Main Responsibilities:
61 Hiring and managing employees:
61 Manage and oversee the in-house team of 15 staff
61 Lead, mentor, and motivate the team towards achieving quality goals
61 Attract, hire, and onboard top talent to build an experienced local team
61 Achieve strategic objectives for the China hub on a quarterly basis
61 Project Management
61 Manage and Improve Quality and Logistics Processes for the Quality hub in Shenzhen, China
61 Manage supplier performance by leading the supplier development team to meet monthly and quarterly targets
61 Supervise in-house quality control processes for custom CNC, Injection Moulding, Sheet Metal and 3D Printed components.
61 Collaborate with finance team, external accountants and senior management.
Experience Required:
61 3+ years’ experience working as an Operations manager or similar role
61 Experience within the manufacturing industry
61 Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field
61 Proven experience in a managerial role within a quality or manufacturing environment.
61 Able to read and understand technical Engineering Drawings (ideally for CNC machined parts at a minimum)
61 Demonstrated expertise in hiring and managing employees
61 3+ years’ experience working in supplier development
61 Minimum requirement for a good level of Mandarin and English
61 Strong IT skills
61 Excellent communication skills
