Strategic Sourcing 1. Gain stakeholder and leadership support Sourcing Management process through the development and implementation of category strategies 2. Engage and implement Sourcing Management tools and methodologies to optimize procurement activities associated with effective and timely implementation 3. Understand external market factors and their implications and build in the plan and approach to address them as part of the sourcing strategy and annual profit plan 4. Demonstrate expertise in the engagement and utilization of procurement tools including RFx’s, contracting and scorecards/reports/communications, etc. 5. Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future supply availability and recommend optimal procurement channels.
Cost optimization 1. Lead role in negotiations for the category to maximize the delivery of value to the business. 2. Support the preparation of annual sourcing plans linked to annual profit plans to maximize value contribution, drive improvements and minimize risks. 3. Develop long-term pipeline of opportunities (Saving, cash flow, growth, other value) based on internal and external factors 4. Perform in-depth analysis of assigned categories to identify and understand future price trends and budget cost projections. 5. Identify and lead projects, in conjunction with suppliers and the businesses, to reduce costs and improve efficiency throughout the supply chain.
Strategic Supplier Management 1. Understand the capabilities of the supply base and select suppliers based on best-in-class criteria to ensure the reliable delivery of consistently high-quality products. 2. Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner to ensure avoidance of all actual and potential conflicts of interest. 3. Well understanding of vendor performance and competitive marketing conditions. 4. Monitor vendor and product performance to ensure they continually meet the highest standards. 5. Build, maintain and further develop relationships with suppliers, especially strategic partners. 6. Develop and implement supplier strategies to ensure a stable and long-term supplier base.
Qualifications 1. Bachelor’s degree or above, with proficiency in English as working language 2. Proficient in procurement with over 8 years of experience, especially in small electrical applications with ability to conduct cost analysis. 3. Familiarity with procurement and supply chain processes, extensive supplier resources. 4. Strong understanding of key business drivers and requirements to build and sustain sourcing strategies and best-in-class procurement processes and practices. 5. Strong collaboration at all levels across functional boundaries, between procurement and the business. 6. Strong business judgement and critical thinking to create and evaluate innovative options and uses a fact-based decision-making process to develop and implement strategies that will drive positive results and deliver value. 7. Engineering background is preferred 8. E-commerce background in small electrical appliances is preferred.
