Job Purpose Assists the A&D Manager in building relationships with local designers, promoting brands and products to the local design community.
Key Roles and Responsibilities 1. Works with A&D Manager to identify the key local designers, to increase specification. 2. Works with A&D Manager to strengthen relationships with local Business Development Managers. 3. Goes out to market to promote Haworth brand to the local designers. 4. Assists with inviting local designers and organizing events catered to the A&D community. 5. Supports A&D manager when doing product launches, lunch and learns and other engagements. 6. Establishes relationships to be able to obtain upcoming project information from local designers and passes them on to A&D manager and sales team for order execution. 7. Regularly goes to A&D offices to interact with local designers to keep Haworth top of mind. 8. Promotes, communicates, and positively represents Haworth products, services and capabilities to A&D firms. Maintains high degree of professionalism at all times. 9. Support on ad hoc projects (e.g. support in setting up showroom for event, updating leads database, etc.). 10. Shenzhen and Hongkong showroom management (vendor management, payment process, facility maintenance, sales tool order) and admin support to the teams. 11. One travel per week to HK office to support showroom operation and local team.
Job Requirements and Qualifications 61 Bachelor’s degree. 61 1-2 industrial experience is preferred.
