This role will drive strategic decision-making and financial discipline to support rapid expansion across DTC, marketplaces, and B2B channels. 98 Key Requirements 11566 Education & Background 73 Bachelor’s degree from a ‘Project 985’ or ‘Project 211’ university (Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field). 73 8+ years of finance/accounting experience (must include cost control, pricing, and international finance). 73 3+ years in financial leadership (Controller, Finance Manager, FP&A Lead, or similar role). 73 Experience in international finance (China-HK-U.S.), including tax planning, entity structuring, and cross-border transactions. 73 Industry experience in e-commerce, manufacturing, supply chain, consumer goods, or retail/wholesale preferred. 21566 Core Responsibilities 73 Financial Structuring & International Operations (U.S.-China-HK) ●Set up and manage GuineaDad’s Hong Kong entity for tax efficiency. ●Ensure compliance with China tax regulations, VAT rebates, and cross-border payments. ●Oversee banking relationships, international payments, and FX risk management. ●Identify and manage the right accounting firms for tax filing in China, HK, and the U.S. 73 Strategic Pricing & Profitability Management ●Develop pricing models for Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, and B2B clients (wholesale, distributors, bulk orders). ●Create tiered pricing strategies based on order volume, exclusivity, and channel profitability. ●Ensure all products and sales channels maintain healthy profit margins. 73 Cost Optimization & Cash Flow Management ●Identify and reduce unnecessary expenses (COGS, logistics, marketing, payroll, etc.). ●Negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers to lower operational costs. ●Optimize cash flow to ensure sustainable growth while keeping financial flexibility. ●Implement financial controls to ensure spending efficiency. 73 OPEX Control & U.S. Expense Optimization ●Monitor and approve major U.S. expenses (marketing, software, operations). ●Challenge and reduce unnecessary spending in payroll, software, and fixed costs. ●Ensure all U.S. operational expenses align with revenue growth and profitability. 73 Data-Driven Financial Reporting & Decision-Making ●Own financial KPIs and track profitability, revenue growth, and operational efficiency. ●Provide monthly financial reports with cost-saving recommendations and strategic insights. ●Implement ERP and accounting systems to automate financial tracking and reporting. 73 High-Ownership Role – Works Independently ●This is not a passive role—this person must take full ownership of GuineaDad’s finances. ●Must be comfortable working independently and making executive-level financial decisions. ●Must communicate financial insights clearly with the CEO and leadership team. 93 Preferred Traits & Personality 73 Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and structured. 73 Proactive and solutions-driven—sees financial risks before they become problems. 73 Strategic thinker who goes beyond reporting numbers—actively optimizes costs and revenue. 73 Fluent in Mandarin & English (must communicate effectively with U.S. and China teams).
