Responsibilities:
1. For new product - prepare new mold basic construction & mold quotation based on new product briefing, BOM, 2D, 3D data; prepare mold modification quotation based on mold modification DFM
2. For existing molds – prepare new duplicated or replacement new mold quotation; prepare mold modification, replacement mold insert & mold repair quotation
Competency:
1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or, Tool Design/Manufacturing, etc.
2. Ability to study new design plastic part & prepare basic mold construction.
3. Ability to study new design plastic part & leading DFM team to prepare DFM
4. Ability to explain mold cost or expense with customer
5. Ability to check mold modification DFM for mold modification cost calculation
6. Be familiar with “Proe”
7. Written English is a must, oral English is a big plus
