Major responsibilities:
NPD/CPD Interface:
- TPP (Third Party Product) NPD project’s interface and management:
1. Being early involved the TPP NPD/CPD projects.
2. Calling samples and tracking TPP NPD products based on product manager, RD and project teams’ requirements.
3. Identify not preferred or obsolete TPP suppliers and products.
- TPP Products (Third Party Product) / TPP Supplier Standardization:
1. Looking after standardisation regarding TPP products and TPP suppliers already in NPD/CPD by knowing strategy within responsible TPP commodity group.
2. Supplier selection and approval from technical point of view.
- Being Interface Between Supplier, Product Manager and R&D:
Developing guidelines of interaction between technical purchasing, product manager and R&D.
- Recommend alternative TPP resources in order to achieve best pricing and negotiate TPP product’s prices of new NPD/CPDs.
- Generation of innovation via recognition of new and important technologies with TPP suppliers as well as transfer to Zumtobel Group technical and marketing decision makers by organising technical meetings with TPP suppliers, product manager and R&D.

TPP Commodity Strategy and Purchasing Management:
- Support Developing TPP Commodity Strategies:
1. Performing permanent SWOT analysis and bringing the strategies into life together with headquarter global TPP technical purchasing and TPP commodity manager.
2. Supporting on market research, establishing procurement-market transparency and definition of strategy in alignment with the Global TPP Purchasing team.
3. Proactive planning and execution of China local TPP supplier’s qualification and annual audit based on GSAP/GSAT process as Co-/ Lead auditor.
- TPP commodity strategy implementation and cost reduction collaboration and negotiation activities together with Global TPP Purchasing team and Product Managers.
- TPP supplier and competitors cost benchmark and analysis. Ensure the optimal cost for purchased Third Party Product and services.
- Act as a bridge between Global TPP Purchasing and TRSZ different functions on various collaborations for TPP NPD/CPD project’s cost benchmark, cost mining and escalation solving.
- Sustainability: contribution and responsibility to support sustainability targets with TPP suppliers in dedicated TPP commodity group.

TPP Product and Related Materials Management:
- TPP Product and Related Materials Description:
Define TPP product and related materials’ description to be used in SAP to allow easy access for all function and avoid duplicates in system.
- Being gatekeeper for part maintenance in SAP and making sure specifications are linked to TPP product and related materials. Contact person for all technical questions from internal and external stakeholders.
- TPP Product and Related Approval:
Monitoring *** and second source approvals via SAP tool and QM process. Driving cost down activities such as Hoshin/ Should Costing.
- ECR management of technical purchasing aspects

Requirements:
- Min. 5 years professional experience in similar position and product/component sourcing roles.
- Bachelor Degree Holder
- Specific knowledge and source network in outsourcing products and suppliers.
- Ability to develop of potential and competitive suppliers in term of quality, price, delivery and service
- Good English and Chinese (fluent in speaking, writing and reading)
- Basic computer knowledge in MS Excel, MS Word and in depth knowledge with ERP ( SAP Purchasing Module)
- Legal base skills and contract knowledge
- Good commercial sense and ethical always
