Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team in Longgang, Shenzhen. This role focuses on the physical testing and inspection of metal components, including on-site supplier visits for quality audits. The engineer will also be responsible for preparing professional COC (Certificate of Conformity) reports and other technical documentation in English.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform physical inspections and precise measurements of CNC-machined and mechanically processed parts
Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and client requirements
Prepare detailed quality reports, including COC documentation, in English
Conduct on-site supplier inspections and audits
Identify non-conformities, document findings, and assist in corrective and preventive action plans
Ensure proper documentation and traceability of inspection results
Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, purchasing, production) on quality issues
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering – required
Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering or quality control within a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in using physical measurement tools: calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.
Solid knowledge of CNC machining and other mechanical production methods, including coating, materials, and surface treatment – required
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances
Good English skills – reading, writing, and speaking
Willingness to travel for supplier inspections
Experience in preparing English-language quality documentation (COC, inspection reports) – preferred
Working on ERP system
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, Full-Time (5 days/week)
