Job Description: Team Management: * Lead and manage a team of supply planners, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. * Serve as the key contact for Business Units (BUs), ensuring effective communication and coordination. * Define and prioritize middle-term and short-term objectives. * Coach and support the team on daily operations, providing guidance and problem-solving assistance. * Monitor suppliers’ logistics performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
Order Management: * Provide reliable and timely information on production capacity and identify risks related to components and capacity. * Develop plans to anticipate and manage factory closures (e.g., Chinese New Year, Golden Week, factory relocations). * Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) meetings. * Distribute forecasts to suppliers and ensure their final commitment.
MPS Management and Orders Follow-up: * Collaborate with counterparts to make production plans feasible and secure delivery timelines. * Follow up on the status of suppliers’ orders from receipt to shipment. * Provide pre-alerts on potential shipment delays to all concerned parties. * Negotiate recovery action plans with suppliers for delayed deliveries. * Propose solutions and actions to BU Logistics for short-term planning if supplies cannot be guaranteed.
Continuous Improvement: * Reduce lead times and improve response times from suppliers. * Implement and maintain the Logistics Performance Index (LPI) with suppliers. * Review and evaluate suppliers' logistics KPIs, working continuously on improvements. * Propose and implement projects to streamline the end-to-end supply chain. * Drive and optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness on a continuous basis.
Exposure List Management: * Implement and follow up with suppliers on exposure lists, ensuring timely reporting. * Review exposure risks with suppliers, especially when there are significant discrepancies with SOP demand. * Collaborate with BU Logistics and Project teams to minimize exposure risks. * Negotiate with suppliers to minimize claims for unused critical components. * Report exposure risks to management on a monthly basis.
New Product Launching: * Participate, or delegate participation to supply planners, in project groups from the RP3 stage. * Coordinate with site teams to develop and ensure the availability of the Product Launching Plan for RP3.5. * Establish a tight daily output follow-up with suppliers on production ramp-up and delivery according to the launch plan.
Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Logistics, Business Admin, or related field 8 years supply chain management or logistics experience. * Proficient in SCM tools (ERP/SAP/Oracle, AI analytics, IoT). * Expertise in logistics, production planning, inventory management, transportation. * Skilled in demand forecasting & capacity planning. * Proven ability to identify/mitigate risks & develop contingency plans. * Experience managing relationships & diverse supplier base * Demonstrated experience managing teams & leading cross-functional collaboration. * Strong problem-solving & data-driven decision-making skills. * Excellent verbal/written skills; adept at presenting complex info to stakeholders. Self-driven & performs well under pressure. * Fluent in English & Mandarin
