Responsibilities: 1. Research market and competitive intelligence to identify the purchasing trends and develop sourcing alternatives.
2. Sub-category ownership and development from a Company perspective.
3. Identity and develop qualified suppliers globally for product of workspace product according to company requirement.
4. Leading on projects, partner with your counterpart in other countries, internal departments and agents to develop the right products and have delivery on time.
5. Identify and resolve potential purchasing problems (terms, price, quality and delivery); follow up to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
6. Follow up daily operations with manager or customers instruction and work with customers.
7. Negotiate with suppliers for quotation of existing and new product, maintaining contact with suppliers regarding current status of purchase orders.
8. Work with suppliers to develop new products.
9. Perform SKU setup, sample evaluation and approval.
10. Maintain files and records of suppliers, cost, purchase orders, and deliveries.
11. Perform miscellaneous job-related merchandising duties as assigned.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree. 2. Proactive working attitude 3. Familiar with US market with working experience in MNC buying office will be an advantage. 4. At least 5 years solid experience in hard goods, experience in furniture products will be an advantage. 5. Holding special Certifications or Technical Skills in Merchandising/Business/International Trade will be an advantage. 6. Strong technical know-how in the area of expertise. 7. Excellent communication, negotiation, logical thinking, analytical skill, problem solving and interpersonal skills. 8. Able to do multi-task in a fast paced, sometimes in pressurized environment, energetic and outgoing 9. Self-driven, result-oriented, detail oriented, excellent organizing and interpersonal skill. 10. Strong commitment and a good team player 11. Able to work under pressure and strong sense of responsibility and strong customer view. 12. Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English & Chinese. 13. Business travel (domestic and overseas) is required.
