Responsibilities: 1. Handle RFQ and source/identify/confirm/develop suppliers for new assigned projects. 2. Proficiency of BOM and costing analysis skill. 3. Develop sourcing and supply strategic plan to ensure the lowest total cost supplier is selected for each product. 4. Manage supplier performance (Cost, Quality, Delivery and Service), Push more suppliers to become preferred supplier and phase out suppliers of bad performance. 5. Collect market information (Material price, Currency, Supply market situation and potential risk/opportunity). 6. Conduct should-cost studies to assess an appropriate figure to guide negotiations or to compare with figures provided by suppliers. 7. Take part in Price negotiation to ensure to get lowest total cost. 8. Handle VA/VE to find and implement cost reduction/saving opportunities constantly. 9. Responsible for ensuring that all products delivery on time. 10. Collect supply market trend, induce new process, technology and selling point into Weber. 11. Any other duties may be instructed to carry out by the company from time to time that are reasonably within the scope of the job position and work capabilities.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in business or a technically related field program. 2. Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to quantify and evaluate manufacturing processes and technologies to ensure ‘best cost’ solutions. 3. Adaptable and flexible with the ability to work well under pressure and in challenging situations. 4. Good command of spoken and written in English and Chinese. 5. Experience on SAP/S3 purchase system data maintenance. 6. Good communication skills. 7. Over 5 years’ work experience in Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Commercial or a technical position in a high-volume manufacturing environment. 8. Frequent travel will be required.
