Responsibilities: 1. Analyze the overall trends of trade development and market information. 2. Manage carrier contract rate and implement long-term tariff agreement . 3. Monitor carriers’ allocation utilization & fulfillment to avoid any dead freight / penalty. 4. Collect forecast & prepare space request / allocation adjustment. 5. Be the *** escalation point of any booking/ space issue . 6. Regular meetings with origin branches to discuss on capacity management issue. 7. Online spot check and request origins to pre-book for space reservation. 8. Market intelligence – Blank sailing/ service deployment change/ equipment status etc.
Qualifications: 1. Strong knowledge on procurement, capacity management 2. Minimum 8 years of ocean procurement, global forwarder experience preferred 3. High degree of Procurement and pricing skills at a regional level. 4. Experienced in global RFQ / Tenders 5. Transpacific Eastbound pricing knowledge is a plus.
