We are looking for a highly organized and technically skilled Project Manager to join our R&D team, responsible for leading the planning and execution of IoT hardware projects, solutions, and fleet management products—from concept through to mass production and release.
Reporting to the Director of Program and Project Management, this role demands a strong background in hardware product development, embedded firmware integration, and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in project coordination, stakeholder management, and agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
In this cross-functional role, you will work closely with engineering, operations, supply chain teams, and external partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective products. This is a key opportunity to contribute to innovation, streamline processes, and bring next-generation solutions to life across diverse industries - all while advancing your own professional development.
Objectives & Responsibilities: 61 Lead end-to-end project management for hardware and embedded firmware programs, from concept through mass production and release, aligned with IoT Solutions initiatives and business objectives. 61 Coordinate cross-functional teams—hardware, firmware, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance—to streamline product development and deployment. 61 Develop and manage project schedules and budgets, track key milestones, and proactively identify and mitigate risks. 61 Serve as the primary liaison for internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring clear communication and aligned expectations. 61 Manage stakeholder engagement, providing timely updates and aligning project execution with client and internal priorities. 61 Oversee change control processes, ensuring proper documentation, testing, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. 61 Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process optimizations that enhance execution efficiency and cost-effectiveness. 61 Collaborate with leadership to shape long-term strategic objectives and support the continued growth of the company’s IoT product portfolio. 61 Define PI (Program Increment) and Sprint goals, post project kickoff, plan and coordinate activities with respective teams, identify interdependencies and blockers, and support their resolution. 61 Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, including documentation, sample shipments, peer support for other Project Managers, and tasks delegated by the supervisor.
Requirements & Qualifications: 61 5–7 years of hands-on project management experience in hardware product development and embedded systems. 61 Strong understanding of IoT ecosystems, embedded systems, and cloud-based platforms, with experience across full lifecycle product development and NPI processes. 61 Ability to effectively collaborate with engineering teams on technical requirements and system integration. 61 Familiarity with manufacturing processes, test development, and product certification standards. 61 Experience working with external vendors for certifications, contract manufacturers (CMs), original design manufacturers (ODMs), and supply chain teams. 61 Proficient in project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent platforms. 61 Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional collaboration. 61 Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of navigating challenges in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. 61 Proven track record managing New Product Introduction (NPI) cycles, including EVT, DVT, and PVT builds. 61 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline. 61 Proficiency in English and Mandarin (both verbal and written) is required.
Preferred Qualifications: 61 Master’s degree in Project Management, Technology Management, or a related field. 61 PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification. 61 Agile/Scrum certifications such as CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) or PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner).
